Amanda Zuckerman is a “Thirsty,” almost thirty years old, white, real estate agent who is currently leasing herself to CBS on their Big Brother reality show, with hopes of obtaining a salary that would allow her to get some work done; along with, receiving any kind of media attention that would make her seem somewhat relevant.
Congratulations Amanda! Your ploy has landed you an article by David Bauder on Yahoo Finance! I am going to copy a brief statement in this article that moved me to give you a tad bit of the desired attention you seek also.
On the 24-hour Internet feed of the house, Amanda Zuckerman, who’s white, complained about a black cast member putting a headband on her greasy, “nappy-hair head.” She referred to another black housemate as “the dark knight” and “the black mamba,” mocked the accent of a Korean woman and referred to “Puerto Rican showers,” leading to a debate about whether she’s racist.
And then she said,
“I’m just joking,” said Zuckerman, a 28-year-old real estate agent from Boynton Beach, Fla. “I’ve had sex with Puerto Rican guys before.”
I have read this article twice and not even a chuckle…..”Am I missing the punchline? Did this Scarlett Letter book cover reject make a sarcastic “Jerry Seinfield” type joke?
For the record, Amanda is not the first person to make racist remarks on this show. She is actually the third and “Pimp Daddy” CBS has not remarked, apologized, or indicated any chance of creating a more racial friendly environment for the prostitutes currently living under their 24 hours internet roof.
Ginger’s Thoughts – My family and friends tell me all the time that I should be on a reality show and then they immediately get quiet as if they are secretly retracting their statement. Seeing the change in their facial expression, I always ask, “What?” And they usually say, “No you can’t go on anybodies reality show because you will never make it! I laugh because they are absolutely right! I will not make it because in situations like the one I described above, the police of whatever state, in whatever jurisdiction we are filming in, will take me away in handcuffs for battery and assault.
Shout-Out to CBS….
